Matcho Winterstein was born in 1975 in Nancy, France, to a family of musicians.
Surrounded and inspired by these great
musicians he began playing guitar at the age of only four years old. Aged 12 he was
already playing in concerts.

The music of Matcho is authentic, generous and engaging with incredible power, swing, and vélocité.

Matcho has now, in his own right become a magnificent representative of the Jazz
Manouche players of Eastern France.
